Hi Shanna,

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I am a guest blogger and don't see all these comments all the time! I definitely think you should add some fruiting plants, it is hard for me to suggest a specific kind because I don't know what your soil is like or how much space you have. If you have acidic soil I would suggest blueberries, as they don't take up a lot of room. If you have more room you can plant blackberries or raspberries. I would definitely add some flowers in that attract butterflies and bees, as this will help with pollination of all of your plants. Some of my favorite butterfly plants are Butterfly Weed, Bee Balm, and Coneflowers! Let me know how it all turns out!

I found this very useful! I had all 7 of my elephant ear bulbs planted upside down, but it was still early enough to correct it. Thanks for the information!

Hi Lynn, Love the different types of plants you can add. I plant a herb every year, Its great to have fresh herbs when the recipe calls for them. So easy too in small spaces..Evey year I find myself trying new ones....and making the garden abit larger. This year I plan to add flowers and afew berry bushes at each end...This will make it more pleasing to the eye. What do you think? Thanks so much! happy gardening, Shanna.

Agree.... it's a fruit. Once on kitchen's table, it's alright to call it vegetable.

DEFINITELY! As long as you use a product sold on the website (which cucumbers most definitely are) you're golden! I'll look forward to receiving it :)
